Module Information

No Quality Management System (QMS) can achieve its full potential unless it is constantly monitored and audited.  An audit is a review of your management system and its compulsory elements.  It provides a snapshot of the activities you undertake and proves compliance to ISO 9001 at the time of the audit.  Conducting Internal Audits will assist your staff in identifying any gaps that may challenge the effectiveness of your QMS.

Following this, actions are taken to a Management Review Meeting (MRM) – these are an important part of confirming the performance and effectiveness of your QMS and has the opportunity to be the ‘think tank’ of the business if run successfully.

What can this module help you achieve?

Internal Audits and Management Review Meetings are an essential part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.  By the end of the module you will have:

  • An understanding of how to select the ‘right’ procedures to be internally audited
  • Clarity on why internal audits are conducted and the internal audit process
  • Determined how to report and close out internal audit findings
  • Ideas on how to create a culture of continual improvement
