An ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) helps you protect your sensitive business information, such as customer records, from accidental or malicious breach.

This module outlines how to anticipate and take action to prevent damage from risks relating to the security of your systems, including your network, laptops and smart phones. It also introduces the concept of regular checks (covered in more detail in the Internal Audit module) which help to ensure that your people and processes adequately protect your business against potential threats.

It is also a great introduction to the standard for those considering implementing it for the first time as it outlines the benefits of having an information security management system that meets the requirements of ISO 27001.
